Last month, the Minder-Hightech team embarked on a European road trip to uncover what makes new capacitor winding tech great. There was so much they wanted to find out about, and then tell everyone else they then spoke to along the way.
The group stopped in countries along the way including Germany, France, Italy and the Czech Republic. All of these cultures and traditions hail from the countries where capacitors were being built, but they still was noticed very similar how it was made. Shockingly, given linguistic and cultural divergence capacitor winders had an incredible amount in common with their winding.
First World Tour of Capacitor-Winding Ideas
On this occasion of the worldwide tour of this series, we decided to share some fresh perspectives and very novel developments in capacitor winding technology from that team on Minder-Hightech. They were particularly interested in what was going on across the pond, owing to many of the world's leading capacitor firms being based in Europe.
Throughout the journey, the team visited factories and research centers. The hands on work where they realized that the capacitor windings are so detailed almost to millimeter. Grobin says the owners were quite taken back by the level of commitment and professionalism they encountered with other engineers and first responders. They found it interesting, and rather surprising how deep this field really is.
History of Cap Production in the Czech Republic
For me, at least, the most interesting part was their long-standing manufacturing of capacitors in the Czech Republic. The country was also a prominent participant in the history of capacitor invention. But it has also been the site for several major innovations and ideas over the years, setting a high bar in terms of creativity to be met by future work coming out from there.
The manufacturing processes were as modern as everything else about the car, and the team also visited multiple factories in the Czech Republic. They learned about the importance of incredible precision, quality and reliability in Capacitor Winding Machine construction; and they saw it in practice. It was great to get a sense of what those factors mean in industry.
Taking a Czech Technology Approach
The Minder-Hightech team was able to learn a lot on its tour through the Czech Republic that virtuallly is capacitively pure winding. Initially the guys were astounded by how much ingenuity there was and what a perfectionist every single worker in that establishment is.
The team visited a number of leaders and experts throughout the journey. They sniffed out the trends of what is hot in the industry and how it can be turned into capital, making tangible acquisitions. They could not wait to bring their new knowledge back to the firm. Valuable, however, was their face-to-face with the Czechs' passion and commitment.
Made in Czech Republic — In the manufacturing heartline
The Czech Republic manufacturing center was the last destination on their tour and a sense of closure. Here, they witnessed the magic of this industry performed in blood and flesh. They toured a number of factories and other facilities, and they were impressed by all the cutting-edge machinery and processes that were going on in these places.
Their friendly nature and their hospitality — athletes felt a great deal of warmth from this team. We were greeted by a lovely welcome from the locals that were only too happy to offer some knowledge and include us in the fold. Each of them agree that this trip was a wonderful learning experience as well as self-improvement, but most importantly… it definitely helped in joining all the capacitor Wire Bonder out there.
So, it was collective trip and they had ultimate fun going to Europe this time for capacitor winding technology learning experience. Innovation sparks flew and for the first time many met industry veterans, innovators, fabricators. First, the team was re-animated and came back to life, eager to apply what they had learned at work at Minder-Hightech. They learned a lot from this trip and it opened up their minds to the world Vacuum Package Line.
